How TurMass™ is made
Release time: 2022-07-15
TurMass™ adopts the original mGFRA technology, which can be regarded as the combination of multi-channel time slot ALOHA and massive MIMO receiver. The core idea is to use frequency division multiplexing and space division multiplexing to support parallel access of a large number of users. The system is divided into multiple channels, and each user randomly selects a channel for pilot and data transmission.
On each channel, the gateway uses the received pilot signal to obtain the channel estimation of each user, and then uses beamforming to demodulate the superimposed user data signals, thereby recovering the data sent by each user. The complete process of mGFRA includes signal transmission at the user end and signal processing at the gateway end: 1) The terminal randomly selects the pilot; 2) The terminal randomly selects the channel; 3) User detection and channel estimation; 4) Beamforming and signal demodulation.
